2020 has been one of the most unpredictable and unexpected years, but Christmas is still something we can look forward to. I don’t know about anyone else, but I’ve definitely been thinking about it a lot more than I normally would this early in the year.
Obviously with the shop and business I have to plan for Christmas, but in the current climate I definitely want to put extra thought and focus into it. If you’re already thinking about Christmas and what you might buy for your loved ones this year, I have a few ideas for you below!
My gorgeous satin and velvet pouches are perfect for makeup or toiletries. They come in 3 sizes- small, large and weekend. The small would make a great stocking filler or the large a lovely gift for that relative you sometimes forget! The Weekend is definitely one to put on your own wishlist. They’re available in a selection of my prints so you can choose the perfect design to match the recipient’s personality!
My scarves are a beautiful accessory and a great gift for that fashionista friend. They’ll update any outfit as they’re finished by hand with gorgeous soft fringing for an extra touch of luxe. A perfect accessory for winter outfits but will also transcend into spring and summer, (they’re light and easily accessible) making them a gift that can be used all year round.
If you know someone who has become a fan of home workouts due to the lockdown or a family member who is heading back to the gym, then a pair of my leggings could be the perfect Christmas gift! Give your friends and family some activewear that is practical and going to make them stand out from the crowd. My leggings are extra stretchy so perfect for all types of high intensity workouts such as running and cycling to more gentle forms of exercise such as yoga and pilates. I wear mine for yoga classes I do over zoom with the amazing @harriett_mg @the.yoga.bar
I share my shop with the very talented @cassandrakingflowersandstyling her everlasting and dried florals are just fabulous. If you’re going to spend Christmas with the in-laws or family, turn up with a beautiful gift that will last much longer than chocolates or alcohol! Perfect for the christmas table or for you to hang in the house.
All my faux fur beauties make fantastic stocking fillers and gifts. They are all made using off cuts of my printed fabrics combined with the softest faux fur to create amazing accessories. The off cuts would’ve been thrown away, but we now keep them all, helping me be a more sustainable business by creating less waste!
These collars will update any winter outfit, the eye masks add a little bit of luxury to your night time routine and the bags are a must have statement accessory that will certainly get loads of compliments!! Plus they are super soft.
This is a gift for someone you want to make feel extra special this Christmas. Made from a gorgeous satin and printed with my botanical ‘Grassed’ print. It also has a lovely forest green satin lining and can be worn open or closed with the tie belt. It’s been designed to be worn at home as luxury loungewear or can be equally worn for those evenings out when we can. I think if and when we’re able to have more parties indoors this the perfect present which you can take you from your sofa to soirée.
This year I’ve launched a whole range of vegan leather stationery products, including passport covers, ipad covers, laptop sleeves and notebook cases. The quality and feel of the vegan leather is great and my prints look fabulous on them. These would make a great gift for anyone who is back to university or work and wants to keep their technology stylish and protected! Or if you know someone who is a pen and paper girl like me, they will be excited to jazz up their notebook with a beautiful cover! Perfect gift for those stationery addicts.
Over the last year I’ve really enjoyed doing my yoga, it has been such a great way of channeling my energy and coping with the unexpected events of 2020. When expanding my gift range I really wanted to produce gifts that I would buy and find useful. Most yoga studios always tell you that it is better to turn up with your own mat. I know I use my yoga mat not just for classes, but around the house when I want to do meditation or have a little stretch. It comes in two of my designs - tie dye print ‘Dream’ and snakeskin print ‘Scaled 2’. A great gift for any yogi in the making!
Another ingenious creation by @patternmistress as another way to use up the scraps of my fabric that we have around the studio to ensure zero waste - hair accessories. These would make amazing stocking fillers for friends and even make great gifts for kids. I love how they’ve turned out and you can mix your styles with hair bands, scrunchies and hair ties.
If you’re looking for a more giftable home interiors product this Christmas, then these could be for you! Available in a selection of my most popular prints and framed in a renewable semi-hardwood frame. My framed prints would make a wonderful addition to a modern stylish contemporary home.
